Ensure that the base layer is clean and dry, free of stains and grease, which directly affects the construction effect and quality.
If there are bumps and nail holes in the base layer, putty and sandpaper should be applied.
If the base layer is a cement wall, in order to consolidate the tightness of the base layer and the putty, the surface needs to be brushed with a layer of clear oil.
Measurement: Measure the surface size, length and width of the veneered object.
Cutting: According to the size of the veneer, cut the decorative film for use. When cutting, it should be 2-4cm more than the actual size of the veneer.
Fixing: lightly paste the decorative film on the top of the base layer, and then align the decorative film and the base layer parallel to the other end.
Scraping: From the top, use a plastic scraper to scrape and stick to both sides, and stick the decorative film on the surface of the base layer. While scraping and sticking, pay attention to straighten the decorative film to avoid wrinkling and blistering.
Bubble treatment: If there are large bubbles, use a blow dryer to heat the decorative film to remove and re-stick it. If there are smaller bubbles, you can use a needle to puncture the bubbles and scrape them flat after sticking.
Finishing: After sticking, cut the excess decorative film along the edge.
